NEAH BAY, Wash. — A family in Neah Bay is desperate for answers after they said their hunting dog was stolen.
The dog disappeared while tracking a cougar near a popular trail over the weekend.
JD Daniels said he was out with his dogs on the Shi Shi Trail like usual when one of his dogs, Belle, disappeared.
“I had four dogs out at the time,” Daniels said. “I came back and she was gone.”
Daniels uses GPS collars to keep track of his dogs. He found Belle’s collar at the trailhead.
