THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — The man accused of shooting at Thurston County deputies and then fleeing the state is expected to appear in court Wednesday.

Damien Madison is in custody on suspicion of two counts of assault, drive-by shooting, unlawful firearm possession and malicious mischief. Madison is accused of shooting an AR-15 rifle at Thurston County Sheriff’s deputies from the passenger’s side of an SUV on Thursday, May 8, during a pursuit through the Tenino area.
