Neighbors ‘very worried’ about men arrested on weapons charges, Nazi ties

Two veterans are accused of trying to steal military equipment from JBLM.

THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — Scarlett Hamilton used to leave her garage door of her Lacey home open at night.

Not after the arrest of two neighbors Monday.

”Now it’s just like, I want cameras up everywhere,” said Hamilton, “You just don’t know.”

Thurston County investigators said two men taken into custody were in possession of illegal weapons, potentially stolen from the U.S. Army. Investigators say they are military veterans.

Detectives said online information linked them to the White Nationalist Socialist Movement, a Nazi organization, according to Thurston County
