Enumclaw ‘senior prank’ alarms police, students break into school with airsoft gun

ENUMCLAW, Wash. — A prank in Enumclaw has landed high school students in trouble with the law.

“This could have had the potential to be a very tragic event,” said Enumclaw Police Chief Tim Floyd.

Chief Floyd and his officers have been on high alert since late Saturday night after three masked juveniles were caught on camera breaking into Enumclaw High School. Police said pictures show what appeared to be one of the suspects holding a gun in their hand. They didn’t steal or vandalize anything and ran away when police arrived.

“It appeared that these kids were rehearsing,” said Chief Floyd. “For a possible active shooter event.”
