SEATTLE — Seattle is set to see its first 9 p.m. sunset of the year Monday night as the region nears the summer solstice and the shortest night of the year.

The sun will set at 9 p.m. on Monday. With the shift, Seattle will have nearly 16 hours of daylight. Sunrise on Monday was at 5:14 a.m.

It will be the region’s first 9 p.m. sunset since July 17, 2024.
