Eleven people were killed in Vancouver when a car drove through a crowd at a Filipino dance group performance.
SEATTLE — Just over a month after a deadly incident at Vancouver’s Lapu-Lapu Day Festival, the Kalahi Philippine Folk Dance group returned to the stage over the weekend at Seattle Center for the annual Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival.
The Vancouver event turned tragic when a car drove through the crowd, killing 11 people, ranging in age from five to 65, and injuring many others. A suspect is in custody and facing second-degree murder charges.
