Shooting suspect killed after 2 hurt in downtown Seattle

Police say the suspect in a double shooting was shot and killed by someone else near the Four Seasons Hotel on Union Street.

SEATTLE — A man accused of shooting two people in downtown Seattle was shot and killed by someone else Wednesday night.

The initial shooting happened around 10 p.m. near the Four Seasons Hotel on Union Street.

Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes said three people got in a fight. One took out a gun and shot two people, then ran from the scene.

Shortly after, the gunman encountered a private citizen who was licensed to carry. Barnes said that person
