LONG BEACH, Wash. — A 15-year-old swimmer is missing Friday evening, with the area U.S. Coast Guard searching for him.
The boy had been swimming offshore before sunset with two adults, according to the U.S. Coast Guard 13th District. Though both adults were rescued by local authorities, the 15-year-old boy remains missing as of 10:10 p.m.
The Coast Guard told KGW that it has a helicopter overhead and a rescue boat crew.
