SAN DIEGO — A bomb threat has been reported in connection with a Hawaiian Airlines plane at the San Diego International Airport Tuesday morning, according to San Diego Harbor Police.
The plane had not taken off and was surrounded by emergency vehicles on the tarmac. Passengers were evacuated off the plane and loaded onto buses.
Airport representatives report that flight operations are running normally. No ground stops have been issued.
The flight involved is Hawaiian Airlines HA15, leaving San Diego on its way to Honolulu Hawaii.
According to Harbor Police, K9 units are on the scene to aid in the investigation.
