Part of El Sonido’s 15th anniversary will be celebrated with full lineup of Latin music artists at the 2025 THING Festival in August.
SEATTLE — It’s been 15 years since KEXP launched El Sonido, its three-hour Latin music show.
El Sonido or “The Sound” airs Monday nights at 7 p.m. on 90.3 FM with opportunities to listen online too.
One of the show’s hosts, Albina Cabrera, said the show features alternative Latin music with various genres that allow people to experience the sound and culture from South, Central and North America, as well as Spain and the rest of the globe.
