SEATTLE — Flags will be lowered to half-staff on Sunday to honor former State Sen. Bill Ramos.
Ramos passed away on April 19 while running on a trail near his home in Issaquah.
Gov. Bob Ferguson directed flags be lowered Sunday, May 18, in honor of Ramos. Flags may be lowered at the end of business Friday and remain lowered through the weekend.
A public memorial service will take place in Issaquah on Sunday at 3 p.m.
