BRS Studios, a Lagos-based production outfit launched by three West African industry veterans, has revealed a slate of new features following on the heels of their Netflix hit “Tokunbo,” which cracked the streamer’s top 10 in more than 50 countries last year.
The company’s current slate includes “Stitches,” a Lagos-set film directed by Ghanaian box-office sensation Shirley Frimpong-Manso that follows a fashion designer from a working-class background whose rise into elite social circles is complicated by love and her past.
