Inspired by Homura Kawamoto’s beloved manga “Kakegurui” (which translates to “compulsive gambler”) and adapted for television by “Warrior Nun” creator Simon Berry, Netflix‘s latest dramedy series, “Bet,” is a tale of chance and retribution.
