Several local, state and federal agencies assisted in the 5-day manhunt that ended near Las Vegas.
THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. — One day after the manhunt for Thurston County fugitive Damien Madison came to an end, FBI officials credited state and local law enforcement partners for taking him into custody without incident near Las Vegas.
Madison, 27, was arrested near Jean, Nevada, on Tuesday, May 13.
“Luckily we were able to bring him into custody in less than a week,” said W. Mike Herrington, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Seattle office. “We don’t give up and we’re going to catch you eventually.”
