SPANAWAY, Wash. — A construction worker was seriously injured after a driver, suspected to be under the influence, crashed into a work zone in Spanaway early Tuesday morning.
A driver was headed southbound on state Route 7 after midnight on Tuesday when she struck a traffic control trailer at a work zone near 188th Street. The trailer launched forward and hit one of the workers on the scene.
