SEATTLE — The Bill Dawson Trail will shut down for five years starting at 8 a.m. on May 12.

“We know a five-year closure is not ideal,” said Tony Black of the Washington State Department of Transportation. “This is a really big deal for people who rely on this every day — we understand that disruption.”
