Sony Pictures Television Snags International Rights to Elizabeth Banks, Matthew Macfadyen Marital Comedy Series ‘The Miniature Wife’

In the run up to its LA Screenings event on Sunday, Sony Pictures Television has snapped up global distribution rights to the upcoming series “The Miniature Wife,” starring Elizabeth Banks and “Succession” Emmy-winner Matthew Macfadyen.

The relationship comedy series explores the shifting power dynamics between spouses as a technological mishap triggers the ultimate marital crisis, pitting them against each other in a battle for dominance. It will air on Peacock in the U.S.
