MIAMI, Florida — Thursday during media day at the Miami Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri met wide receiver Justin Jefferson and received a quick Griddy lesson.
Piastri then made a bet with the Minnesota Vikings receiver that if he were to win the Miami Grand Prix, he would celebrate with a Griddy.
After his qualifying effort on Saturday left him starting in fourth, Piastri decided not to practice what he learned on Thursday, assuming he would not need to pay up on his bet with Jefferson.
