Seattle to launch free Waterfront Park shuttle service Friday

The shuttle will stop at the Seattle Center/Space Needle, Pier 69, Pier 62, Pier 56, Pioneer Square and King Street Station in the International District.

SEATTLE — Starting Friday, there will be a free shuttle for visitors to the downtown waterfront and Waterfront Park.

The Waterfront Shuttle will begin service Friday and end in mid-September, according to a release Wednesday. The shuttle will stop at the Seattle Center/Space Needle, Pier 69, Pier 62, Pier 56, Pioneer Square and King Street Station in the International District. 

Waterfront officials said the route will have stops close to the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market and Coleman Dock. A
