Domestic dispute leads to man being fatally stabbed by girlfriend’s son, deputies say

Deputies say the investigation is ongoing.

TACOMA, Wash. — A teen is in custody after stabbing his mother’s boyfriend during a “domestic dispute,” Pierce County deputies say.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) says deputies responded around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday to a reported stabbing on 76th Street Court East. Deputies say the 16-year-old’s mother and her boyfriend were having a dispute of some kind, which led to the stabbing.

The 23-year-old boyfriend was taken to the hospital in critical condition but eventually died from his injuries, deputies say.
