Bill Belichick said he was “surprised” when reporter Tony Dokoupil, during an interview for “CBS Sunday Morning,” asked about topics unrelated to his new book — and said that the segment that aired was “selectively edited” to create a “false narrative” that his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was trying to control the interview.
Belichick, formerly the longtime coach of the New England Patriots who left the club at the end of the 2023 season, was hired by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to be the football team’s head coach in December 2024.
